We maintain this affiliation through our founder, J. Ken Gallant. Before he founded Investigative Solutions, Ken was a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation for 23 years. NCISS – The National Council of Investigation and Security Services, Inc., is a cooperative effort of those companies and associations responsible for providing private security and investigation services to the business community, government and the public. Each day we find an increasing number of problems confronting the orderly growth of our profession. It is the role of N.C.I.S.S. to meet and solve these problems. N.C.I.S.S seeks to improve the quality of services offered by private investigators, security personnel, and others in the field, which is a cause we strongly support and agree with.
NJLPIA – The New Jersey Licensed Private Investigation Association – The NJLPIA conducts educational programs that benefit their members and employees as a mean to raise industry investigation standards in the state of New Jersey. They also seek to monitor and effect change to legislation that impacts our profession, while also fostering harmony and good will between their members, the licensing organization, and the public.
From their website: “NJLPIA was established in 1955 to promote professionalism among our licensed investigator members. Since that time, NJLPIA, through its general membership and many volunteer board members, has worked hard to increase our ranks, establish an open dialogue with our licensing body – the New Jersey State Police, promote education and training for investigators and monitor and effect change in the NJ and Federal legislatures.”
